Getting Started

Begin your nature play journey with our foundational "Introduction to Bush Kindy" session or explore site-specific support through "Bush Kindy Site Assessment and Risk-Benefit Planning." For centre-based services, the "Incorporating Nature Play" session equips educators with creative strategies to transform everyday spaces into nature-rich environments.

Looking to build confidence in nature play or fill gaps in your outdoor learning knowledge? You're in the right place. After two decades in early childhood education, I understand that getting started with outdoor learning can feel overwhelming.

I've been lucky to learn through many roles - from Kindy Director to Lead Educator, working with all age groups and studying along the way. This journey, including a Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies (Honours), Cert IV Training & Assessment and Forest School Leader certification, has taught me that everyone starts somewhere, and the best learning happens when we feel supported.

Whether you're just beginning to explore nature play or ready to deepen your practice, we'll work together to build your confidence. My approach is simple - create a comfortable space where you can ask questions, try new things, and discover practical skills you can use straight away.
